The PromethION 24 (P24) is a high-throughput sequencing device capable of generating terabases of long-read data in a single run, making it suitable for large-scale genomic projects. It features 24 independent flow cell positions, allowing users to sequence multiple samples simultaneously or flexibly scale their experiments.

With the A-Series data acquisition unit, users can run high-accuracy basecalling, methylation calling, demultiplexing, and alignment during the sequencing run.

The P24 is ideal for applications such as human or other large genome whole-genome sequencing, transcriptomics, and direct RNA.

The P24 device comes with one year of standard support, one year of warranty, and on-site installation support to set up the device so it is ready to use. Other support options can be purchased including multi-year support plans. For devices supported directly by Oxford Nanopore, enhanced support is also available for labs whose work is time-critical, quality-managed or regulated.
