Information

This is an online, two-day, personalised training course for up to two participants. Work with one of our expert instructors to gain a comprehensive overview of our technology, and to run sequencing experiments on your MinION under their supervision.

MinION Flow Cells (x2) andsequencing kits (x2) are included in this training.

A pre-training discussion will be organised to plan and design your training to include your chosen samples as well as the Oxford Nanopore control experiment. The training will cover:

  • Technical considerations for when planning your nanopore sequencing experiments.
  • Preparation of up to 2 sequencing libraries (1 ONT control + 1 user sample)
  • Flow cell priming and loading.
  • Configuring and running the MinION
  • Introduction to basecalling and EPI2ME analysis solutions
  • Tools and resources available to help you get started.
