The PromethION 2 Solo (P2 Solo) device is designed to run up to 2 PromethION Flow Cells in parallel. The P2 Solo needs to be plugged into a GridION or user provided compute to enable sequencing.

The P2 Solo is available to purchase (CapEx) or lease (Starter Pack/Project Pack).

The P2 Solo starter Pack enables users with a consumable budget to get started with P2 Solo. The pack includes flow cells and sequencing kits. The Project Pack includes more flow cells and sequencing kits for larger projects. Additionally the Project Pack includes a remote installation support call (Assurance) is set up the device is correctly installed and ready to use. Starter and Project Packs are only available for shipping to US, Canada, UK, Australia and the European Union (excluding Romania and Greece).

The P2 Solo CapEx (Capital Expenditure) enables users with a capital budget to get started with P2 Solo it includes title transfer of the device. P2 Solo CapEx does not include flow cells and sequencing kits.

Both Project Pack and CapEx include licence and warranty.
