Offering the flexibility of two independent, high-output PromethION Flow Cells, the compact PromethION 2 (P2) Solo device delivers the benefits of high-coverage nanopore sequencing to users with lower sample processing requirements. The P2 Solo can also be used to expand your GridION or existing compute infrastructure.
The 12-month license and warranty are required to use the latest Oxford Nanopore software and devices. An active license requirement is laid out in out in the Nanopore Product Terms and Conditions, and provides the user with access to the following:
Software updates: Oxford Nanopore provides regular updates to software and firmware. Users need to keep their software up to date to receive support and to have access to the latest features, basecalling algorithms, and supported chemistries. To keep up to date with the latest releases, users should refer to the Nanopore Community for release notes.
Hardware upgrades: On release of updated hardware, users will be notified of the upgrade path options and added to a queue to receive a device update, if applicable. Where applicable, free upgrades will be subject to an open consumables order and minimum usage requirement.
Returns and replace policy: Replacement devices will be shipped within 5 business days of a fault being identified and confirmed by Oxford Nanopore as outside of expected operational parameters, which cannot be rectified remotely.
Support: Monday to Friday 9 am - 5 pm (local time). To continue to use the software and hardware, as well as receive support, customers will need to have an active license and warranty. For starter packs only, Oxford Nanopore will request for the device to be returned when the warranty has expired.
License and warranty is valid for 12 months.
