Information
This is a bespoke, 2.5 day training course, conducted on-site, for up to four participants. Work with one of our expert instructors to gain a comprehensive overview of our technology, and hands-on experience on running sequencing experiments on your PromethION.
A pre-training discussion will be organised to plan and design your training to include your chosen samples as well as the Oxford Nanopore control experiment. The training will cover:
- Experimental design and QC
- Library preparation including (1 ONT control + up to 4 user samples)
- Flow cell priming and loading
- Configuring and running the PromethION
- Introduction to basecalling and nanopore analysis workflows
- Tools and resources available to help you get started
Flow cells (x8) and sequencing kits (x2) are included in this training.
