Oxford Nanopore experts will provide a comprehensive technology overview followed by a practical hands-on experience running your nanopore device for up to 4 participants, either locally at your premises or at an Oxford Nanopore location*. MinION/GridION Flow Cells (x6) and Nanopore Sequencing kits (x2) are included in this training bundle. 

The training will provide participants with the tools to successfully complete nanopore sequencing experiments on the MinION and/or GridION X5. A pre-training discussion will be organised to plan and design your training workshop to include your chosen samples as well as the Oxford Nanopore control experiment. The advanced training will provide the following:

• Bespoke 2-day training
• Experimental design and QC
• Library preparation including multiple user samples
• Library loading
• Configuring and running the MinION and/or GridION X5
• Introduction to basecalling and Epi2ME analysis workflows
• Essentials of data-analysis

The analysis will use Oxford Nanopore’s real-time 16S-BLAST and WIMP tools. A pre-training discussion will be organised to plan and design your training workshop to include your chosen samples as well as the Oxford Nanopore control experiment. Oxford Nanopore experts with extensive laboratory experience will work with up to 4 individuals in your organisation in the optimisation of your samples to be sequenced on PromethION. This bundle includes pre-training consultation followed by 2 days training either locally at your premises or at an Oxford Nanopore location*. PromethION Flow Cells (x8) and sequencing kits (x2) are included in this training bundle.

The training will provide participants with the tools to successfully complete nanopore sequencing experiments on the PromethION. Pre-training consultation is included to facilitate discussions on experimental design and sample QC. This is a bespoke training that will include the sequencing of your chosen samples along with a control sample. The Advanced PromethION training will include the following:

• Bespoke 2 day training + pre-training consultation
• Experimental design and QC
• Comprehensive technology overview
• Library preparation including multiple user samples
• Library loading
• Configuring and running the PromethION
• Introduction to basecalling and Epi2ME analysis workflows
