The GridION is a flexible, medium-throughput sequencing device with five integrated flow cell positions and onboard high performance compute. It features a simple setup process and requires minimal installation, making it user-friendly and easy to operate.
The GridION is well suited for multiplexed sequencing of small whole genomes, such as viruses, bacteria or small eukaryotic genomes; metagenomics and targeted sequencing.
The GridION device comes with one year of standard support, one year of warranty, and a remote installation support call to set up the device so it is ready to use. Other support options can be purchased including multi-year support plans. For devices supported directly by Oxford Nanopore, enhanced support is also available for labs whose work is time-critical, quality-managed or regulated.
